Elixir is a portable aroma diffuser with a quiet and soothing design. Using a combination of essential oils, a cotton pad, a motorized fan, and carefully engineered airflow, Elixir provides a therapeutic aroma experience for personal use on the go. The tactile rotating lid opens up to reveal the cotton pad to drop the essential oils into. Closing the lid and further rotating the cap powers the device on. When the aroma gets weak, users can simply add more oils, and change out the cotton pad every now and then.

Being a fairly simple electronic product, we created a calm design reminiscent of crafted ceramics that can quietly hold its own unique presence. While it’s made in one color all throughout the product, the large contrast of textured and glossy surface finishing give the design a subtle distinction. This soft and warm aesthetic is in line with the product’s therapeutic experience, thus communicating the same language in function and form.
