To help new students at Jeonbuk National University’s College of Engineering better understand and engage with their academic journey, we designed a major guidebook and exploration leaflet. While maintaining the clarity essential to informational materials, we focused on moving away from the typically serious tone of engineering, instead adopting a bright and playful visual language. A structured grid system was combined with graphics symbolizing engineering elements, and infographic layouts inspired by game boards were used to turn the process of exploring majors into a more engaging and adventurous experience.

새로운 학문적 여정을 시작하는 전북대학교 학생들의 전공에 대한 이해와 흥미를 효과적으로 전달하기 위해, 전북대학교 공과대학 신입생을 위한 전공 가이드북과 전공탐색 안내서를 제작하였습니다. 가이드북의 특성인 정보 전달의 명확성을 유지하면서도 공과대학 특유의 진중한 분위기를 벗어나, 밝고 유쾌한 톤앤매너를 구현하는 데 집중하였습니다. 체계적인 그리드 구조 위에 공학적 요소를 상징하는 그래픽을 결합하고, 게임 보드판을 연상시키는 인포그래픽 구성을 통해 정보 탐색 과정을 하나의 ‘탐험’처럼 느낄 수 있도록 유도하였습니다.
