‘TheVentures BX’ 작품감상
TheVentures, a renowned early-stage investment firm founded in Korea, was rebranded to evolve its trusted image into one that feels younger and more innovative. Since its founding in 2014, TheVentures faced challenges such as outdated branding, the need for a refreshed identity aligned with its expanded investment stages and global ambitions, and a logo that lacked visual appeal and failed to stand out alongside other VC logos.
As part of the rebranding project, we developed a new logo, a cohesive illustration style, redesigned the investment process page, and created a welcome kit for founders—building a brand that feels both trustworthy and forward-thinking.
Under TheVentures’ slogan Founders for Founders, we established three core brand directions. From this, we defined key values: an investment process designed from the founder’s perspective, innovative support methods, and a high level of entrepreneurial autonomy.
The branding motif was inspired by the idea of a pace maker—someone who runs just one step ahead to help set the pace. We wanted to convey the message that TheVentures guides and adjusts the path for founders as they move forward. Visually, our goal was to blend the trustworthy image of a venture capital firm with a younger, more optimistic tone. To achieve this, we introduced a friendly graphic style and a vibrant color palette that evokes the feeling of discovering ideas in uncharted territory.
To communicate the investment process clearly and efficiently, we created a dedicated page that users can easily access via QR code—making key information available at the right moment in the founder's journey.
In line with the new branding, we also redesigned the website to deliver a more cohesive, user-friendly experience that reflects TheVentures' renewed identity and values.
We designed a welcoming kit to strengthen brand touchpoints with founders. With the concept of an “emergency kit for founders,” the package included thoughtfully designed items like a fountain pen, business card holder, and t-shirt—tools that reflect both practicality and intention. The kit was crafted to leave a positive impression and act as a trigger when founders encounter other promising entrepreneurs. Each item was developed with a clear purpose and bold visual identity, reinforcing TheVentures’ branding through meaningful, founder-focused details.
