‘NAVER Pay’ 작품감상
NAVER Pay is the financial services brand under NAVER FINANCIAL. It started in
2008 as NAVER's simple purchase service. It has expanded beyond simple payments into a comprehensive financial platform, covering payments, transfers, loans, insurance, and more, making customers' financial lives more convenient.
NAVER Pay continues to lead financial innovation by leveraging the extensive data built on NAVER's strong platform and reliable cloud technology. The new brand design of NAVER Pay reflects its innovation from a simple payment service into a comprehensive financial platform, transforming the overall financial experience for users.

The circle, along with the square, is one of the most fundamental and inclusive shapes, and it also aligns with the nature of finance. The circular motif, symbolizing expansion and unity, represents how NAVER Pay is broadening its range of services, from simple payments to real estate, securities, and various financial products, powered by its advanced technology.

The previous brand logo consisted of the 'N symbol' of the parent company, NAVER, followed by the word of 'Pay' If the 'N symbol' were altered too much, it could lead to a situation where consumers no longer recognize it as NAVER Pay. Therefore, when renewing the brand logo, we needed to incorporate the value of the new comprehensive financial service while ensuring that the 'N symbol' remained recognizable as NAVER.
We determined that using the circular 'N symbol' with green color would allow consumers to easily identify it as the new NAVER Pay. This approach led to the creation of the current logo, which conveys the concepts of 'Technology', 'Finance' and 'Expansion'.

The key visual was designed to bring NAVER Pay its distinctive style across various visual communication mediums. The two styles represent 'the beginning of all finance', and 'the expansion of finance through technology'.

Relying solely on the circular motif for the new design could have been monotonous when applied to NAVER Pay's diverse services and marketing. To strengthen and enrich the brand image, we developed over 150 graphic assets. The newly developed graphic assets feature three-dimensional shapes with outlines and transparency, giving them a distinctive edge.
